My llmd wants me to take Zith & Diflucan together for coinfections... im so confused because people say it affects the heart with both of them together.. right now im only on 250mg of zith a day..
i want to move my dose up bcuz i dont think im doing much with that small dose.. I'm also sick right now with a bad cold, not sure if its a herx.. So a Dr told me to increase zith for 3 days & add diflucan... im so confused.. Any opinions?

If it were ME, I would do it. Esp with only 250mg of zith.

My daughter took both together and didn't have any problems.
I would start with the diflucan first.

i took a very high dose of zithromax with nystatin, and nystatin made me feel terrible...
diflucan has never effected me at all, and its been SO much better for me than nystatin, so i would probably try the diflucan with zithromax..
just be careful, and observant... if you start to notice a problem, then stop right away.
i take an anti-biotic that gives me seizures, but it helps me with so many other things. i just stop everytime the seizures start...
maybe you could do that with the zithromax and diflucan..

I took both of them and zillion of others at the same time without a problem.
Just treat your body good vitamins minerals detox suplements for kidney and liver.
