Everyone, check this out.

This new Lyme study from U of New Haven sure does confirm the usefulness of Flagyl & especially Tinidazole:

I've been talking with a lymenet member who got well on Rifampin + Flagyl - that's it, no other drugs. Looking at the above study Tinidizole seems even better than Flagyl, and since I'm already on Rifampin, I think I'll see if my doctor will add tinidizole into the mix and I'll give that combo a few months.

Interestingly, doxy causes "round bodies" I always thought doxy prevented cyst conversion.

And, tini kills the crap out of spirochetes, not just cysts.

I had a 2 week course of doxy that did nothing. Then I had a week worth of Flagyl (with doxy) and improved IMMEDIATELY. I'm still on the doxy, so any Bb that's hiding out in my body is probably in cyst form just waiting for the abx to go away. I'm sure I'll have a nice relapse once that happens.

Thanks for posting the study. I am a big fan of Tinidazole/Tindamax.

After 18 months of other abx combos got me to about 80%, 6 months of Tinidazole and cipro helped me get to 100% from my LD and bart.
