I have tiny bumps on both of my arms right below the elbow. They feel like they are right under the skin. Has anyone had these or have any idea what they are?

Yes, I'm familiar with many skin issues. Do they come to the surface or just stay under the top derma?
How long have they appearing. Do they come and go?
Itch or burn?

I had tiny, red, non-itchy bumps on the backs of both my upper arms for many years.
They went away after 2 years of LD and bart abxs.

Jason, that is interesting. I have just noticed those bumps on my upper right arm. I just had major surgery, so I don't know if the trauma stirred things up. I've been feeling pretty "epstien-barre-ish" lately.

map1131 Well they use to stay just under the skin and the ones on the top part of my atm still do but for the last 6 months it looks like the same thing is by my elbow and the under side of my lower arm. They get a thing later of light colored skin on them and then they peel open. I think they have been there for 6 to 9 months. They come and then they stay. They don't itch or burn. I just am so awarethey are there.

Could be from bartonella. Here are some bart symptoms from Burrascano:
"Tender sub-cutaneous nodules along the extremities, especially outer thigh, shins, and occasionally along the triceps."
"May have papular or linear red rashes (like stretch marks that do not always follow skin planes), especially in those with GI involvement." (page 26)
"Papular" means little red bumps, sort of like the look of a pimple.

Mine actually look the same as a goose pump does when you are cold. Not red or sore.

WILL... Get to a doctor ASAP!!! Get photos of the rash.
I have the same thing. Looks like goosebumps but are not.
Mine get worse when the yeast is out of control or I start killing alot of yeast.
I have them on the inside of my knee and after being off of abx.s for 4 months and focusing on yeast they went away.
Back on abx.s for two weeks now and they are back.

If this is Lyme related, then I have had it my whole life! From what I have been told it is just skin that doesn't exfoliate properly. If you scrub the bumps with a washcloth with soap while in the shower or tub they go away in a couple of weeks.

I have the papular rash on the backs of my arms. It appeared the same year I believe I contracted lyme. I still have it, almost 20 years later. From what I've read, I believe it's bart.
Over the years the only things that have helped are soothing balms and not itching it. Stress makes it worse. I wear long sleeves a lot, despite where I live, just to keep it from irritation and my own unconcious itching.

Ive had those my whole life. Was told it was from a vitamin deficiency. Really, I don't think it's Lyme related. The only thing I could even think of would be a reaction to a new med if you just started one.

I've had that for a very long time. I just thought it was dry skin. Interesting!!

Scrubbing with a washcoth and soap does nothing to them. I think when I treat the lyme they start to go away. That's the only thing that makes them better.
