I think it helps to open up your pores and let in oxygen.

Dry brushing before also is supposed to help.

I *try* to do the detox baths on Mon, Wed, and Friday but that doesn't always happen. Didn't have one tonight because I am too lazy to even get one.

I've been doing the dry brushing everyday...twice on the days I get a bath. I brush right before my morning shower.

Here is a good link about detox baths.

I try to do it every night but I don't always find the time. But at the very least every other night.

What is "dry brushing"?

JeniferM, dry brushing is just dry brushing the skin with a bristled brush. Exactly what it sounds like! People do this before they take their detox bath in order to remove dead skin that may be clogging the pores.

Hydrogen peroxide is antibacterial and oxygenating.

These detox baths helped me tremendously with stabbing pains, muscle aches, and the headaches I was having after starting treatment. I noticed a huge improvement after just one, actually, but your results may vary!

Do you have to use a special brush to do dry brushing?

I use this one. I like that it has a detachable handle. The bristles are rather firm too. My skin actually seems softer as well.

Any soft bristled brush will do though.
