What? That's not good!! I already HAVE peripheral neuropathy!! And I'm due to go on this next month!

Scorpiogirl, if you start having increased symptoms neuropathy after taking Flagyl, you should probably quit taking it. Those symptoms might not go away.
Your LLMD should know this though. My daughter has tried Flagyl and Tindamax but had to stop both of them.
She takes GSE now and it seems to be working without the neuropathy problems.

I am supposed to go on Flagyl IV in a month... so not on it yet. I am on Tinidazole though... does that cause neuropathy as well??

Ok are are we saying that those who can't handle cyst busters can't most likely ever get well?
I wish there were more people on lymenet who could come on here and shout "no, myself others have gotten well WITHOUT the famous cyst busters...certainly there must be quite a few...I hope. thanks, j

I am pulsing flagyl, and I take B6 to help with neuropathy. When I first started taking it, I definitely had a return of tingling in my hands, and some twitching. My doc had me watch it for 24 hours to see if it was worse. Turned out to be the medicine kicking in.
I was nervous as well, since neuropathy was one of the symptoms that started this whole journey, but I was happy to find that it worked for me.
I only really herx on flagyl (exhausted, dizzy, spacey, nauseous), and they are not fun, but I also know that it really works.
