Along with my crazy list of symptoms, I have something new over the past few weeks (and my kids are starting to have this, too). I have been noticing bite-like marks...raised white marks...that itch like bites but are not always just round. For instance, right now, I have a thin crescent area on my lower back that is raised and itchy. Sometimes the "bites" are tiny, and sometimes larger. Sometimes in raised lines where I have scratched. Often in the same area....lower spine, upper tummy, etc.

Does this sound like lyme or a co-infection? Or is this another crazy issue I've got?

Since you AND your children are getting this AT THE SAME TIME, I would suspect something like bed bugs or other bugs biting all of you.

If it were lyme or a coinfection, I don't see other people in the family getting the exact same symptom at the same time as you.

Parasites can play a MAJOR role as a co-infection of Lyme disease. According to Dr. K. treating parasites is FIRST and Lyme SECOND. Do a search on here by typing parasites into search bar at the top of the page.

Parasites are very contagious. Research all you can on this subject and google parasite symptoms.

Thank you. I will do a search on that. We did a stool test on one of my daughters about six months ago, and it did show a parasite, but our chrio said that the lab couldn't tell us what it was....that there is a list of parasites they can legally report, but other than that they are regulated so that anything else would be assumed to be non-systemic. Does that make sense?
