Does anyone have any experience with the Byron White formulas and young children?

My son is 7.

Nobody is doing Byron White with kids?

I asked my LLMD about this yesterday. Regular does are based on 150 lb patient. Half it for a kid that is 75 pounds.

That being said, I wouldn't give it to my kids until I had success with it. I was only just given the Byron White stuff so I don't have any first hand knowledge yet.

I've been thinking of putting my 7 yr old on Byron White formulas. Should I seek out a ND or can I just give it to her with dosage based on her weight?

Also, do you need to be on probiotics with these herbs? And what are the chances liver numbers could get elevated?

yan---supposedly they don't affect the liver, otherwise I couldn't take them.

The drops are very, very strong so I would start with 1/6 of a drop with a child since adults start with 1/3 of a drop.

Stillwater, Have you gotten to 25 drops BID? I am currently at 16. How long did it take you to get to the max dose? Did you get any headaches or nausea...those are the two I notice...especially with A-Bart. I haven't noticed any other side effects. I started at one drop for a month of each...it took a while before I started ramping up. So for a child I would start slowly. maybe every other day.
