I'm a little scared. My left foot has fallen asleep a few times this past few days. It also feels like burning. I am on biaxin, amantadine, and ceftin for 3 weeks of the month. The 4th week I take flagyl. I've been following this protocol for 9 months. I would call my doctor, but I no longer have one and I'm waiting to see someone (on a wait list).
Please help! Should I stop the flagyl? I use to take b12. Should I go back on? Is this peripheral neuropathy? With treatment can it go away? Should I see a neoulogist?

My first lyme symptom was tingly numb arms and legs. Lyme can infect your nerves. But the flagyl can also cause that so it's hard to know.
Since you didn't have it before, it could be the flagyl.
Are you doing this treatment without a doctor's supervision? try to get to speak to a doctor right away. I don't think it's good to start and stop meds on your own.

Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to call. Would it really be that dangerous for me to stop?

I have had neuropathy before starting medication, but not like this before. Usually I felt tingling in my hand, leg, neck and/ or arm. But certainly not like this.

I also had neuropathy before the flagyl, and when I started it, I had a slight increase. However, it went away within 24-48 hours. I take B6 with it.
At the same time, mine did go away, and my LLMD was very cautious about flagyl if the tingling continued.
I agree about trying to speak with some doctor right away.
