i don't know what's going on. i am constantly hungry and eating something. which ain't good either because i'm eating everything i get my hands on!! fruit, vegetables, fish, bread, you name it, i eat it.
i've been doing fungal defense for about two weeks now. am taking probiotics, the florastor, theralac and vsl 3.
i just have the munchies all the time.
what in the heck is going on???
also i am soooo tired. and not sleeping either. i go to bed at 9 or 10 and i'm still awake at 1 in the morning.
my whole system feels like it's been screwed up lately.
i am able to eat now without a lot of pain, been taking the nexium and levsin. must be doing something.
but i've got to loose weight, not gain it!!!

I have a similar problem, but thank God I don't seem to ever gain weight.
Have you ever considered doing a strict anti-candida diet? Maybe if you cut down a little on the fruits and the starches it might help a little?
Maybe I'm completely wrong - I'm just offering some simple suggestions.

Thyroid and adrenals? Have you had them tested recently? These were the culprits for me for the weight gain and the late nights and fatigue. My TSH was always normal but my free T3 was not right until I started on Armor instead of Synthroid, I noticed a big difference after the switch. I know there are likely many other things it could be but just thought I'd throw those out there from personal experience!

Parasites! They get our food and we get their poo and leftovers, and no chance for healing. Possibly read some of the many posts here.
Take care.

I have gained 40 pounds in two years. So upset.
I am going to try to watch what I eat a bit better and lessen the sugars. Such a downer to be sick and overweight.

I have noticed my appetite has increased since I started mino 8 days ago, especially after the evening meal.
All the Best, MattH

I'd say parasites.

Six and GiGi,
So glad you both chimed in about parasites. I was afraid I was sounding like a broken record about the parasite connection. I remember being so rasvenous early on I could have eaten the couch, chair and then my neighbor.

It could also be from going after candida. I know that when I am fighting/killing candida, I get very hungry and crave lots of different things (mainly sugar & breads). I want to eat constantly! The cravings are due to the yeast trying to survive! It's awful.
Not saying that is what's happening with you, but that has been my experience. Parasites also may have something to do with it.

so if that's the case about fighting candida, what do you do about the food cravings? Mine are terrible too!
Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :
Chronic candida is on the symptom list for parasites, so getting rid of them will help get rid of the candida.

I get this too. What I'll try to do is just down a large spoon of coconut oil. This way mentally I know I'm getting the fat and can't possibly need more, and also I think it kills something in there. TMI TMI TMI Usually the next poo has something stringy in it.

Yes, I've read that..It's probably true.
Whenever the cravings hit, I try my best not to give in and I fill myself with foods that are "safe." I also eat spoonfuls of coconut oil. It's a good fat and I really enjoy the taste.

i can't do the coconut as it gives me stomach pain. my pancreas doesn't like it.
Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :
randi,
It's probably the parasites that don't like it. Coconut oil is antiparasitic, and that's probably why you get pain. Parasites can cause a lot of pain. Maybe you could try a very low dose of 1/4 tsp to start. Just a suggestion.

randibear, I don't know how old you are or what your situation is as I haven't been on here for almost a year. But this happened to me too! I was hungry all the time and it hurt I was so famished. Turned out it was my estrogen and progesterone. I was not getting enough progesterone. Once I increased that, it went away. Weird I know but that's what it was.

My daughter was like this early on with Babs.
Then there is the cycle of carbs creating carb cravings.
