Has anyone out there had the Lyme Immune ID Test? What does it mean when your body is manufacturing levels that are 800 -1500 times what is considered normal?

when you say levels do you mean the cytokine levels? If so, I just got the results. do you have about 5 pages of individual cytokine levels? I have the same question but all I got for an answer was severe inflamation. But the summary said "current infection with Borrelia burgdorferi either early or waning." Some of them were past 2000 times normal.
What about T cells? Did they register equivical or positive?

Their "My Lyme Immune ID" is reported to be more sensitive that many other tests on the market. It may also be a good indicator of inflammation resulting from Lyme disease. The test has two basic parts: T-cells (ITT or Immune Tolerance Test) and "Stimulated Cytokine Testing" which provides insight as to inflammation.

Yes the levels are the cytokines. Do you mind me asking what your doctor told you or suggested after you got your results back? Was your medication changed at all?

This test test against ONLY the Lyme pathogen...Then the cytokine part is also tested ONLY to the Lyme pathogen..So it measures your body's T cell response to the pathogen.. It is very accurate and can be used to monitor improvement during treatment.

My result said that I am currently sick with Lyme. We followed with IgeneX western blot (at my request), and I was CDC positive.
