I've heard of all the other ingredients in this product, except Trimethylglycine. I also noticed it makes up most of the miligrams in this product....so it must have a pretty vital purpose. I've never heard anyone talk about this on here before...anyone know what it does???!!

From what I've read on it, I thought it was more for brain function?
If I remember right, it's supposed to increase energy and mood...
I think the jury is still out on it being a liver protectant.
I know it's found in beets and spinach, can't seem to remember what else.

I saw this supplement today at whole foods and thought it looked great since there are many things all in one pill that are on dr. b's list. have you tried it yet?
I bought a different Alpha Lipoic Acid cause I didn't know what that first ingredient was either...
Curious how it has made you feel.

- I think beets are a good blood cleanser, so maybe it works for the liver too.

That supplement is usually abbreviated as "TMG". There's another form called "DMG" which is very similar. Some say that the sublingual versions are better absorbed.
I don't remember about how it affects the liver (I'm guessing it has to do with detox and methylation pathways), but I know they're good for energy. That's why they say not to take them at night.
I take sublingual DMG sometimes when I have a lot of work to do and need a lot of energy.
I would LOVE to eat beets for liver detox, but I told myself that they're too high in sugars and might worsen candida. Do you agree?

I think you can find supplements with beets, James.

I just realized today that a supplement I'm taking called "LV-GB" (liver-gallbladder) has beet extract in it.
Still, I can't imagine that a tiny little extract would be better than eating an entire beet... but who knows.

Yes,
it has to do with detox and methylation pathways.
My doc wanted me to take it to help the methylation, means better detox and then maybe more energy.
I have not tried it. Also SAM E and MSM can do about the same .
