So I posted back in June that I got rebitten by a tick and got a rash around it.

My Primary gave me a couple weeks of Doxy.
That rash just now went away.

I restarted minocycline yesterday... and today notice a long streak rash down my butt cheek. It's about 5 inches long, the width of a pencil and the appearance of a hicky..a 5 inch long hicky! (I would show a picture but I'm not sure how to)

I also noticed a couple weeks ago that the bottoms of my feet sometimes hurt so bad when I walk..as if I had stone bruises. I'm fatigued as well and having chill bumps that come and go in various places. Sometimes down just one leg etc.

Does this sound like Bart? My LLMD suspected a few years ago that I had Bart but I never came positive on any Bart test.

If this is Bart... would you think it was from the recent tick bite or maybe because I just restarted Minocycline?

Will my minocycline be enough if it's Bart? Or does that not work for Bart at all?

I'm so depressed.

Sorry about your reinfection! Sounds very much like bart to me. Sore feet are classic bart, and the rash sounds like it as well.

I don't think mino hits bart at all. It could be knocking down another infection so the bart can surface. Or, your reinfection is causing the increased symptoms.

Here is something easy to test it on your own - try adding Cumanda from Nutramedix for a month to see if it helps. You will need to work up slowly drop by drop up to 10 to 15 drops twice daily in water before meals.

Cumanda (with Samento) eradicated bart for my entire family after 2 years of abx could not.

Hope this helps!

In people with good immunity minocicline is god inuff to kill bart on chronick patients I,do not think so .

You have to add one of these :levaquin ,bactrim ,rifampin, ceftriaxone.

Gentamycin or amycacin are the best but they have to be monitored closly for side effects on kidney.

And monolaurin(lauricidin) ,japanese cnotweed is good to and you must take something for biofilms like lumrokinaze .

Take care
