I used to get this quite often, but since treatment it has subsided till now.

All my symptoms seem to be coming back after 8months on Ceftin.Azith and GSE

Sometimes I wake up and my heart and chest feel super heavy. My body burns from the inside. I used to be chilled but that is gone since sauna treatment.

Is this a deficiency, toxins, herx.. I am at a loss!

I really was hoping I would not go backwords. I told the LLMD and he told me to stop the abx for 5 days (scary)

help appreciated
Fuel

do you have co-infections? My heart palps and heavy limbs are from Bartonella. Mine got better after Zith but have yet to go away completely.

My co testing from Labcorp?? (not sure how good) came back positive for Mycoplasma and HHV6.

I think I am going to have an Igenex co panel done this week.

I am presently on Ceftin(2000mg day) and Azith(500mg day) GSE

I have a negative Bartonella test from Igenenx but I definately have it. My symptoms have been strong for it all along.

I have moodiness/irritability, painful joints (all of them), frontal headaches (sinus like), anxiety, dizziness, tired all the time and must take naps, eye issues (pain, blurriness), heart palpitations, feeling of heavy limbs and can feel heartbeat. Bart is vascular in nature which could cause the heavy feeling and heart issues.

Google parasite symptoms. Parasites/worms can play a major role in Lyme disease and cause some of these symptoms you both mention.

Dr. K. treats ALL of his pts for parasites first, and not all LLMDs are aware of the parasite connection.

Sorry you are feeling so bad. It sounds like a co-infection. I have read on this board about people treating lyme for a while and a co-infection will come out. A lot of the tests are useless for co-infections, bec. there are so many strains. I had the whole igenex panel done and it all came out negative.

I get a lot of burning sensations. Not sure if it is from babs or bart. When do you see your llmd again?

I am pretty sure I have co's aside from the HHV6 and Myco..

I was thinking about doing the complete Igenex Co panel but its some money, and I could use that for treatment.

My next llmd appt is in a couple weeks. Not sure where I should go?

I did start the abx again this morning and feel decent (anything is better than this morning)I have major CNS symptoms when I flare bad!

Any suggestions for next abx combos after Ceftin and Azith?

I get major anxiety on Biaxin.. it lasts forever too.. not sure if anxiety is herx?

Oh boy this is rough

I feel bad for you, Fuel. I hope things get easier for you soon.

It sounds like things are much more difficult when you don't know exactly what you have...

CNS symptoms, anxiety...sound a lot like Bart. Dr. B's guidelines say that testing is rarely positive for Bart. Check it out.

In my opinion your LLMD should be able to treat you based on symptoms and you wouldn't have to pay for the testing.

I have myco pneu and HHV6. My lyme is under control, so I think it is the myco/viruses which can have the neuro symptoms as Lyme, and other co-infections. My doc treated the myco with doxy, azith, and lauricidin, but it still isn't enough. I'm on Raintree myco and still get the burning skin which is neuro, as well.

Treat the Mycoplasma. It's a nasty infection. Ceftin doesn't touch it, but zith and doxy will for awhile.

IMO,
CherylSue

I'll agree Bart is most likely the culprit here.

The burning pain is neuropathy.
