Will a prep for a colonoscopy wipe out all the good bacteria I have built up by taking Florastor, and Theralac these past few months.
Am worried about c-diff.

Good question. I think it would GREATLY REDUCE the number. (maybe it'll clean out the bad stuff too!!!)
So .. replenish heavily when you get home!! (can you also stay off abx for a few days while your gut catches up?)
I also make sure I eat sugar-free jello and G2 gatorade instead of the heavily sugared variety. You can also buy those packets of electrolytes at the health food store. They are sugar-free.
yes, you'll be ingesting aspartame, but it's better than the sugar if you ask me (for a day or two it won't kill you!)
