how is the treatment is taken. How many pills a day? or it just for a time then take a break and then keep treatment. Or it has to be taken everyday?

How is your experience with treatment?

These are very broad questions and there are so many variables.

The antibiotics you use will be determined by the infections you have (Lyme, Co's etc)

One you find out what you are diagnosed with, you can start an antibiotics protocol, or you can go herbal.

Most of these pills will need to be taken daily. Some antibiotics have a short half life and need to stay at full power in your system to kill the Lyme and Co-infections.

This forum is full of excellent info. Welcome

Most patients take meds several times a day for weeks or months on end....unless the illness is caught EARLY.

Find an LLMD so you can get well. Doing it on your own is not a good idea.

I am looking for a good lyme disease specialist. I was wondering why are they so expensive. But I think there is hope. Steve is 892 dollars just the first visit. I am good with that I was wondering if there is a good one cheaper or even a good one that you guys recommend no matter the price. around Rochester,NY. do they take medicaid?

How many antibiotics a day do patients looking to get healing needs to take? I understand that will be for a couple of week of a very intense antibiotic treatment then it will slow down?

Do they have to take drugs just like antidepressants or is going to be naturals products, or just antibiotics and how often during the day? do they have injections that last for a month for people who forget to take their supplements or pills in this case...

Thank you I am looking for details on this treatment.

PS I am not looking for my self I will go to a doctor but I want to know how is the experiences of others on this journey thank you guys...

Antibiotic treatment is usually a faster way to go. Some clear up in a few months, some in a few years. It depends on how long you've been infected and the coinfections you have. That's why finding an experienced Lyme Literate MD is so important.

Even then, there are varying protocols. Most LLMD's are using herbal protocols with the abx or as maintenance therapy. New remedies are cropping up all the time.

Everybody's tolerance for meds differ, too. There are so many variables, but with patience and a good doc you can achieve remission.

Good luck.
