My doctor has put me on A-L complex till the end of the month.

Since I started taking A-L complex I have started seeing an increase in symptoms like muscle pain.

These don't seem like a herx since I don't have a fever (or can you herx without a fever?)

My doctor said A-L complex strengthens the immune system so that my body can fight the Lyme better.

My questions are:
1. Does that I am seeing sound like a herx?
2. Does A-L complex cause a herx in some people? 3. Can it be considered to be a medication for Lyme (and not just an immune booster)?

Thanks in advance!!

You can herx in many different ways. An exacerbation of any symptoms can be considered a healing crisis and a need for detox (getting toxins/dead bacteria out).

A-L is used for Lyme, if you're speaking of Byron White's Formula.

fyrecracker, thanks for the reply. Yes I am referring to the byron white formula.

I took an entire bottle of A-bart and didn't have any reaction but seem to be reacting to this one.

I wonder if my symptoms are related to this formula or just unrelated.
