Can anybody knows if the virus is reduce then it the symptoms will fade?

Yes I am sure Lyme can cause irreversible damages... Amy Tan still have lasting impact from her fight w/ Lyme and co-infections. She is on anti-seizure medications for the rest of her life, so she can't drive. She also said she still wears "funny shoes" so I'm assuming her peripheral neuropathy has not fully healed and still giving her some problems.

Unfortunately, as much as no one wants to hear it, I, too, believe that it can cause irreversible damage. Both my LLMD and my lyme-aware neurologist have also agreed. Personally, I think that when it has affected the brain, the damage is done...although for some lucky ones, it has appeared to be reversible, although I think that they are the minority.

I think it can, but it doesn't necessarily. I had severe cognitive symptoms and they are gone.
I still have a frozen left shoulder and thought it was permanent since it's been two years. However, it has loosened up some in the past few months so maybe it's not.

So, All cases are different the only way to find out is actually treating the patient who is suffering in this case. But yes a lots of people say that. those who agree there is permanent damages scorpio girl and triathletelymie what are your experiences with permanent damages.

Yes it can, but with proper treatment many can avoid it.
