I'm doing fairly well, but the bloody sleep issues are rearing their head again - difficulty falling asleep, and the worst - waking up after four hours. Finally falling back to sleep.
What have you found to allow for an unbroken rest?

insomnia is my worst symptom. Dr. K recommended a "sleep cocktail" at his last conference: 80-120mg Lithium Orotate, 100mg 5-HTP, 3000mg L-Tryptophan at bedtime. This helps me, but is not enough. I have to add in some melatonin too along with my pharmaceutical and magnesium. Still I don't sleep well, but at least I sleep.

Thx. I've got some homeopathic sleep aid here; I'm going to try it tonight. Wish we (us) all luck Posted by pini (Member # 1405) on :
Last week I was on Biaxin and slept like a baby.
I just started Doxy and I was up every few hours.
Do different abx affect sleep?

Yes abx effect sleep. I was on IV Clindamycin and I would sleep for 10 hours, it was heaven! I now am off and I have not slept for 2 days.
