Just read this: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20522242,00.html

Legendary women's basketball coach diagnosed with dementia after years of "rheumatoid arthritis."

Are you kidding me? This is LYME!

Anyone know how to contact?

I should mention that I originally had a "dementia" diagnosis and it was lyme. 18 months after treatment, my brain is now 'normal'

Nice, i was the other guy in the comments to mention lyme. I was just wondering if there was a way to get a hold of someone who could talk to her about lyme, probably would be difficult. We can always bomb the comment section and pray someone who knows her reads it.

I saw that today too. She needs to get to an LLMD asap.

When I saw the article today, that was also my initial thought. It looks like Steere, Wormser, and Shapiro are responding to anyone who even siuggests lyme in the comments section.

Hopefully, someone will suggest to her to get tested. The problem is that high profile people like this almost always turn to the high profile hospitals like Mayo and believe without question whatever they are told, because they are the 'experts'. It is a small miracle that the professional baseball player in Under Our Skin decided to look into the possibility of lyme after being assured by the 'experts' that it was Parkinsons.
