Hi, I have had recurring Lyme disease for more than 20 years and have probably had most of the sypmtoms.
I was just bitten again and besides stiff joints and spine (which are my most common symptoms), I now have what appear to be fatty lumps on the inside of my elbows and armpits.
Haven't had that before, has anyone else?
Thanks alot.
Glad you are all still here!!

&probably swollen lymph nodes. They're usually under your armpits.

Another possibility is bartonella which can cause these lumps. And bartonella can be acquired by tick bite.

I just had a lump removed from my thigh, it hurt for 20 years. The dr said it was benign but it had nerves in it. Probably was from lyme, I've been sick a long time. I was dxd with ALS last year but abx have helped.

My former boyfriend has those. I forget what they are called but they are usually harmless. If it hurts that is a different story.

Has anyone ever had them go away after trx?
I have them, too, in the same spots -- triceps and pits.
Oddly enough, I had pretty severe nerve syx in those same spots very early on, with my arms going totally numb and immobile throughout the night (very scary). And later, the triceps, in the very same spots where the lumps currently reside, atrophied tremendously.

Another possibility - lipomas? Those are fat cell tumors that spring up where we've been bumped, generally.
If such is the case, I can report 100% success by drinking noni juice and taking grapeseed extract (NOT grapefruit seed extract) capsules -
the lipomas disappear or reappear in a couple weeks' time, depending on whether I'm doing that protocol.
Another interesting medical/treatment mystery.

I had one under my right arm that got to be the size of a golf ball.
My PCP at the time had an ultra sound on it. She baiscally said there was nothing that could be done and that it must be since I was getting old. (Mid 50's is old).
It would change and some days would be bigger to the point that I couldn't put my arm down but then other days it wasn't as anoying.
I was on treatment for Lyme, Bart and Babs at the time but nothing was getting rid of it.
At one point, I saw a physical therapist and she did lymph drainage and it was totally gone in a one hour appointment. It would start to come back occasionally, but with more lymph drainage, it would go back down.
I'm obviously not saying that this is what may be your culprit. I'm only telling you what it ended up being for me. Good luck and keep us posted.

I have one of these on my arm, an inch away from inside of my elbow. Usually doesn't hurt, it's been there maybe 5 years, as long as I've been in this medical odyssey.
I had an MRI done and it's supposedly a fatty lipoma. Used to hurt on occasion, actually when I first noticed it, but it doesn't bother me anymore.
The doctors said to leave it alone. I've never asked my LLMD about it.
