I haven't been on this forum for over a year. Have tried rifing with an EMEM5. In the beginning I would rife two minutes each at 10 frequencies and several days later I would notice severe increase in neuropathy , palitations and insomnia. I have kept at it and been suffering ever since. I did have 3 months of minimal symptoms and thought I was free but after undergoing very severe stress for the last two months I feel like I have never rifed. My burning pain and heart palpitaions are off the chart. My husband said I should rife twice a week but I think that is crazy. Any ideas?

You mean you rife only once a week? or how often? I usually need to run the rife machine every day, or every other day, esp. to knock down Bart symps (which is said to multiply fast).

What are you diagnosed for, or what are you rifing for?

I am pretty sure it is Bartonella along with Babesia and Lyme. The manufacturer of the machine said to rife no more than every 12-14 days. I have never heard of anyone doing it every day but if that is what it takes I'll do it. What frequencies are you using and how long?

How often YOU rife also depends on how well or how fast you can detox, to get rid of the die-off toxins. If you have die-off reactions, you need to be taking a lot of detox remedies. It's a big subject, you can search it on lymenet. For examples, lemon juice, chlorella, apple pectin, modified citrus pectin, charcoal, bentonite clay, zeolites, cilantro-chlorella drops, rhodiola, etc.

A complication is that people are supposed to get rid of heavy metals like mercury before starting rifing, since rifing is said to move or disturb or stir up mercury. Also people say that when lyme spirochetes die, they release mercury and other toxins. Thus it's important to be taking heavy metal detox agents. Also people are supposed to get rid of their old silver/mercury fillings before rifing. Do you have any?

Please do post your Q's on the rife thread, it's a long thread called How many rifers?,; we're on p 42; it's usu. on p 1 or 2 of current topics; the originator is springshowers.

I can rife every day because i'm not very sick, i don't have many bacteria left, so i'm not suffering from die-off.

The advice you were given about every 12-14 days is for very sick people with a heavy bacterial load, who could be made dangerously sicker by extreme die-off reactions. People shouldn't have a high dose of released toxins----- it can cause serious damage.

Dan (our expert on the rife thread)has pointed out the paradoxical situation of people with heavy bacterial loads who need to rife often to stop the bacteria from multiplying, but who can't rife often because they need time to get rid of die-off toxins. You have to judge your own situation, including a concerted detox program.

You should search on detox or mercury. Also mercury detox should probably be managed by your doctor. Rhodiola helps prevent brain-damage from Quinolinic acid.

As your reactions lessen, you can rife longer and more often.
