florastor runs about 20 bucks for 30 i think. most people take it with say theralac or vsl or something.
but can you take probiotics without the florastor? say critical care, the theralac, or vsl 3, or some such.
do you absolutely have to have the florastor and the other probiotics?

I never have taken Florastor. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing!
oh wait.. I did take s.boulardii for a month one time

you dont have to use the brand florastor, i buy jarrow formulas S. boulardii, which is the same as florastor. S.boulardii is a good yeast and with probiotics will help keep bad yeast at bay. I've been taking it for 2 months or so, seems to work well can't say its necessary to take it but my llmd recommends it.
