Does anyone else have a sharp chest pain in their upper right quadrant when they breathe? I will have attacks where it only hurts when I take even the most shallow breaths. Sometimes it is only a few breaths, but other times it can last a lot longer. Do you guys think it is a spasm of some sort? I have blood clotting issues, so I guess technically it could be a tiny blood clot in my lungs. Thoughts?

Hmm... might need to get that checked out!! Clotting would be a major concern!!

I have on and off pain on the left side of my chest. It even shoots out into my left arm which you could imagine would concern me a great deal.

It was actually one of my most early symptoms. After numerous tests and analysis is was determined that it was probably a muscle induced issue.

I would still get it looked at but in my case it was just lyme and c causing crazy things.

Ok, that is a good idea. This is probably really bad, but I generally don't check things out any more because the hospital is never able to give me any answers and it just frustrates me even more. I talk to my Lyme Doctor about new symptoms but not really any of my other doctors. I have so many weird new symptoms all the time, and I often wonder what it really is.
What did they do about the muscle induced problem? What tests did they run to determine that?

it was mainly a process of elimination. I had echo cardiogram, stress test, 24 hour holter monitor n tons of blood work.

I go to a cardiologist all the time, but I should probably go get it checked out. I go to a cardio because I have syncope with Dysautonomia and strange bp/hr issues. Thanks for your help!

Chest pain was my husband's worse symptom that started our journey into the Lyme world. Since treatment it is not near as bad. Everyonce in a while he will get some pains, but they don't last long. He has seen cardiologist and of course, nothing. We attribute it to Lyme & Cos.

Dear Life Lyme,

I had similar symptoms. I ended up in the

hospital with very low BP and heart rate with

chest pains. I was there for nine days and they

couldn't figure it out. They had me see a

pulmonologist and cardiologist. Whe I got out I

went to see my LLMD and he said quite simply

that's that Coxsackie B virus you people get.

And he was right. I was tested and had all the

strains. It has bugged me on and off ever

since. I take L-Lysine and virgin coconut oil daily and it helps.

Don't rule out viruses because many like myself catch everything that they get exposed too.

Best Wishes, Truesun

Truesun, sorry you are struggling with this, too. I will have to check into that.
Thanks,

Kramberry and Nonna,
Like you can't really breathe? I have air hunger sometimes where it feels like my muscles around my lungs aren't working sufficiently. Almost like there is a weight on my chest and my body isn't strong enough to counteract it. I think it is a parasitic thing. Another super weird Lymie thing:)

My breathing problem only is when sleeping, like i would wake up feeling drowned in water.

I have the same issue when I take naps. I wonder if you are not getting enough oxygen when you are asleep or something like that.
