I've been very fatigued lately, with intermittent low-grade fevers, headaches, and joint paint (nausea and vomiting as well, and loss of appetite ... the latter two are not very severe).
I've been this way since the beginning/middle of August. My family doctor ran the following tests:
Lyme Ab/Western Blot Reflex Lyme AB IgG/IgM: 0.95 High (range: <.90 -, .91-1.09 Equivocal, >1.09 +) Lyme Ab Interp,EIA: Equivocal
Lyme Disease Ab, Quant, IgM: 1.66 High (range: <.90 -, .91-1.09 Equivocal, >1.09 +) Lyme Ab Interp,EIA: Positive Abnormal
Western Blot: This had only one IgM band positive, Band 23, which came back Present Abnormal.
Doctor says I don't have Lyme. Should I pursue this, maybe a second opinion?

Yes, you need to see a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) & find a new family dr. S/he ran an Elisa & it's positive. Not only that, the actual Western Blot lists Band 23 as positive. That is a major Lyme antibody.

Is there a way to find an LLMD locally? I don't drive due to a visual impairment (genetic not Lyme related) and it's hard for me to get places without burdening others. Central NJ preferably, and one that takes insurance.

I just posted in the seeking a doctor section. I am so frustrated right now, I just went back to school and now this happened; I'm hoping they can give me credit or reimburse me for my tuition.

YOu were positive on your IgM. A positive is a positive.
I was negative on my IgG and Positive on my IgM. You have it. There is no question.
RUN to an LLMD. Sadly the best ones don't take insurance.

I believe there are some good llmd's in your area. You might not have to travel far. Hopefully someone will be sending you some names shortly.
