1. Has anyone else had high Amylase levels before?
152 (range 31-124) (normal Lipase, and no stomach or other gastric pains)
If so, could it be Lyme related?
2. Nausea and vomiting: Are these Lyme symptoms (not antibiotic effects, just symptoms of the actual disease ... haven't been put on antibiotics yet)?

I am nauseous almost 24/7, but I refuse to vomit! I usually can think my way out of vomitting, but every once in a while it doesn't work. I've had this for a couple of years and just started ABX last week so it's not the medicine.
Spent about a month with my Gastero Dr. last summer and she couldn't find anything except gasteroparisis and I think that was a wrong DX personally.
I think I read somewhere that Lyme can cause gasteroparisis type symptoms and the belly issues. Can't remember where though...

i've had high pancreas levels but it was when i was having problems with the high does of abx. they can, and will, effect the pancreas.
people forget about it when concentrating on the liver and spleen.
but yes, my amalyze and lipase have gone up, not significantly, but definitely up.

Babesiosis is a malaria-like protozoa illness that invades, infects, and kills the red blood cells. Symptoms include fatigue, night sweats, chills, fever, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, headache, dark urine, muscle pain, joint pain, NAUSEA, and jaundice. Treatment is an anti-malarial combined with an antibiotic--often Mepron or Malarone with Zithromax or Biaxin w/Artemisinin. Septra/Bactrim has shown in some cases to be effective.
Ehrlichiosis is a bacterial infection that invades and infects the white blood cells. There are two types of Ehrlichiosis: Human Monocytic Ehrlichiosis (HME) and Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis (HGE). Symptoms include malaise, fever, sweating, NAUSEA, dry cough, headache, anemia, muscle aches and pain. First line treatment is most often Doxycycline, Minocycline and/or Rifampin. Cipro, Levaquin, Biaxin and Azithromycin have shown in some cases to be effective.
Bartonella also known as cat-scratch fever is a bacterial infection. Symptoms include swollen, painful lymph nodes, muscle and/or joint pain, NAUSEA, VOMITING, chills, anxiety, insomnia, red rashes that resemble stretch marks. Treatment is often Levaquin or Rifampin, Biaxin or Azithromycin. Septra/Bactrim has shown in some cases to be effective.
Mycoplasma is a bacterial infection. Symptoms include fatigue, breathing problems, headache, muscle pain and soreness, NAUSEA, lymph node pain, and cognitive problems. Treatment is usually Doxycycline, Minocycline, Azithromycin, Clarithromycin, or Ciprofloxacin.

Thank you all for responding. My PCP says nausea is not a Lyme symptom ., which. is why Ihave an appointment with the LLMD, but I have to wait until November .

My daughter has had nausea constantly for over a year! Pain between the ribs too. Other intermittent abdominal pain in other places. Vomits rarely.
