I have definitely gotten a yeast issue since starting Rocephin.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get rid of the yeast when using Diflucan? Is it a week, month, etc?
I'm not sure how much of my present symptoms are b/c of lyme or rather, yeast.

What makes you know you have yeast?...I suspect yeast, but can't tell the difference between all the symptoms.

Anal itching and body acne were the new one that was finally like "ok, its yeast". I have a few others symptoms as well.

that's hard to say. i've never been able to convince my doc to give me more than 3-4 days of 200 mg.

my doc wrote me 90 days the first time... i've read it takes 2 months sometimes to really get it cleared up.

For my son, one month on diflucan with ongoing nystatin took care of it.

I've still been battling it. I've taken tons of Diflucan. Very frustrated. May need something stronger.
what's stronger than diflucan?

Lymetoo, I'm sure your aware but im curious if youve tried using milk kefir grains? My gut was pretty bad where I couldn't tolerate the slightest bit of sugar without a flare up. After a couple weeks of kefir I was able to tolerate fresh fruit smoothies. The homemade stuff has 40+strains of goodguys and yeast.

I've tried it before. May have to try it again. Didn't really care for it, but hey, I'll do anything at this point!
