Let's see 5 times within the last 3 months I have been shorted on my scripts and I don't mean by a little, we are talking a full third!!

Since the first time it happened I always take a rough count before I leave the pharmacy.

What is most troubling is the fact that they were all filled by the same chain. Shorted 5 times in 3 months at 3 different locations

Hmmmmmmmmmm Makes ya wonder

By the way I will give everyone a hint
It's a big chain pharmacy
The name starts with a C ends with an S
There are 3 letters in the name [bonk]

I did a survey on pharmacies last week in "General."

THe pharmacy chain you speak of is the worst by far according to the survey..and yes they have shorted me too!

Well Beth the only aversion I have to dumping them out is thinking of all the runny noses, coughing and misc. drips of who knows what that preceeded me on the counter. I admit it has crossed my mind though.

Their excuse is always the same.....oops we're sorry.

BCB,
I never counted either until I called for refill and they told me it was too soon. I was taking them as prescribed yet wound up like a week and a half short.

Then it dawned on me they never gave me enough to begin with. They promptly gave me the remainder after I had a little chat with them.

I wouldn't have thought twice about it if it hadn't happened again and again and so on.

Alice, that doesn't suprise me in the least. Those dirty rat b*&&%##ds.

Alice, they are allowed to fill your RX with different generic brands. I've had this happen many times. They usually put a note on the label of the outer paper bag that details the change. Sometimes the techs notice and tell me about it when I check out, sometimes they don't.
