I just received my Parastroy and honestly, am a little scared.
What can I expect from this? I am going to start with one pill each para rid, and para sweep.
Any symptoms? Will I be in the bathroom constantly?
Thanks!

Hi! You beat me to this!! Mine are coming Saturday! Can you post your experience so I know what to expect?
I got the Vit C/Salt but I'm scared to try it! So I'll just try the Parastroy first... Good luck!!
Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
For sure!, You know I will. I am hoping to hear from Gael or an expert on this before I take the first pills. I have a busy weekend(wedding)
I will for sure keep you in the loop.

I got mine last Thursday and still haven't gotten the courage to take it...Life seems to get in the way...I'm afraid to be in the bathroom all day at work/the ride to work and the weekend is so busy.
Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
Exactly!!! nhl..
Please someone speak up with experiences

Ok we all sound like wimps here... LOL...
Fuel, not sure if doing this when you have a wedding to attend is a good idea. Posted by julier212 (Member # 26408) on :
I started Parastroy 10 days ago, and I have had little issues with it so far. Before Parastroy I took WMW (chinese herbs), and I was in so much pain after 2 days I couldn't bear it. It took 3 weeks for me to recover. Anyway, I had the exact same nerves as you all about Parastroy, and I am happy to say I have had an okay time with it! I hope this eases your worries a little bit! Good Luck!

Thanks for the input julier...did you think it's working at all for you?
Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
Julie - You Rock! Going to pop my pills now. I will keep all in the loop.
Any worms yet?

I took it for 4 months this past winter. No problems at all. Sure, some days I felt a bit tired, some days I felt some stabbings in the back that would come and go for an hour or so, but I figured the parasites were letting go. It really was no big deal. It took a month before I saw aliens in the toilette.
I recently got a friend of mine started on Parastroy. She said she had some diarrhea from for the first week. She stayed at the "first week dosage" for 2 weeks, until she felt fine again and then moved up. She might be at full dose by now and has had no more symptoms.
I was worried to start it too, but really, just start. Looking back, there was nothing to worry about!

Hens many thanks for the reassurance.
Hope you are doing well!
Do some photon for me... lucky Maybe someday I will get one.

Haha - I am joining this "wimpy" crowd too. I have had the Parastroy box sitting in my kitchen.
I am going to start it on Sunday. If I start on a Thursday then I will get my weeks all confused. Should we be taking the pills 2 weeks on and 1 week of? Or consistently every day?
I am scared to see any aliens in the toilet!
Posted by scorpiogirl (Member # 31907) on :
LOL @ Penquingirl... I know what you mean since I always start my meds on Monday or I get confused!
Why does it take a month to get the aliens out?? Yuck!

The only side effect I had from Parastroy was acid reflux in the early morning hours. It has Betain Hydrochloride in it. Just make sure to drink a lot of water with it.
Posted by bigstan (Member # 11699) on :
What to expect from Parastroy? Nothing..It did absolutely nothing for me. Waste of time and money for me. Good thing it was cheap.
You may have better results.
Posted by scorpiogirl (Member # 31907) on :
Bigstan, how long did you try? How much did you take? Maybe you don't have parasites? That could be a good thing. Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :
bigstan,
You have to stay on any antiparasitic herbs!!! One month just is not enough. For some it can take a few months like hens for these parasites to let go.
It took me six months of several strong herbs (16 caps a day) for them to let go. It was two days after I started the salt/c that all hell broke loose.
Folks,
Don't be afraid to start at a low dose and ramp up from there. You can also take 3 2 x a day after 3rd week. Or 2 3 x a day. TAKE THESE WITH FOOD as suggested.
If you're really scared to start, you can open the capsules up and put them in applesauce and take a little at a time. Good luck everyone. Drink lots of water.

I took my first 2 pills about 3 hours ago. No effects or discomfort. Maybe just a little bubbly.
I am going to ease slow into it until after the weekend and then ramp up after things slow down.
Thanks Fuel

Fuel,
You beat me to adding that you probably should start these (or continue) AFTER the weekend wedding.

Awe... how sweet that you call your wife "Bride". I love it when men love their women!! I'm one of those lucky ones with a loving husband. He calls me his "girlfriend" when we go out w/out our kids. With the kids then I'm "the wife". Posted by penguingirl (Member # 28688) on :
I wanted to add that if anyone is allergic to nuts (walnuts) that the box has that noted as part of the ingredients.
Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
Scorpio - We are lucky for sure.. life is hard enough with this, I can't imagine not having a great partner!
Penguin - that is good info, fortunately I am alright.. I may be nuts at times! but for others reading good stuff

BTW - I just noticed I hit 500 on the posts.. saweet.
I am wondering how my buddy James has double that and started the forum after me?
I think he starts threads and talks to himself a few words at a time with different replies. JK
Just having fun James my buddy

Yay - good job 500 posts!.
I know - I don't know how James got to 1K already too!
He is a fun addition though - so he can yap away about kegels and fermented veggies!
Posted by James1979 (Member # 31926) on :
Fuel - LOL! I heard that!
Penguingirl - yep, kegels and fermented viggies and "how to get a firm ass". (I think mine is improving, BTW).
I don't know how I got so many posts. It's probably because I spend WAAAAY too much time on this forum. It's addicting!
I think 90% of my posts are stupid jokes, 9% are questions that I need help with, and the last 1% are "indeterminate".
I thought I'd be gone from here a long time ago, but it looks like I may just be at the VERY BEGINNING of my Lyme treatment. Moohahahahaha! You guys might have to put up with me for many more months now!
BTW, I also was very happy to see that both Fuel and Scorpio both have good relationships with their spouses. For some reason, most of my "non-internet" friends complain a lot about their wives (and get divorced frequently). Curiously enough, I rarely hear the wives complaining about the husbands. But we all know that's because it's usually the wives who are the troublemakers! Posted by James1979 (Member # 31926) on :
Point proven: My last post above was post #1359 for me, and it fit into the 90% category of "stupid jokes". Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
James - Thanks for the kind words! I am seriously a lucky guy. I mean who would be able to deal with someone that is always sick and it always seems to be about them and getting healthy?
Also, I hope you are cured in days, but stick around nontheless to keep us entertained and informed.
Posted by penguingirl (Member # 28688) on :
Yes James - even if you are 100% it would be fun to have your humor around here!
Fuel - I'm lucky as well - I'm not married (yet) but have an incredibly supportive boyfriend who has watched me go through hell and back and stuck by me every way. So I know if he can put up with my rage and insomnia, he must be a keeper!
Posted by scorpiogirl (Member # 31907) on :
Yes James you can not leave us even if you're all better. I promise not to cause you any troubles!
Fuel, that's what marriage should be like! Otherwise why bother if you're going to jump ship at the first sign of rough seas.

Fuel and nhlymeguy-
I am not sure if it's working. I haven't seen any wormies yet, but I haven't really dissected either! I do feel significantly more tired lately, but I have also cut back my sugar intake. Who knows, I'm just hanging in there!

I have to comment on the parasite treatment. I have started reading Buhner's book Healing Lyme. What a fantastic book! I have not even gotten to the protocol.
He does an amazing job of describing the spirochete and how it is so successful at detroying us. He also says that the spirochete responds to anti-parasitics.
I have started some anti-parasitics along with Tindamax and also added some things like Smilax. I'm feeling pretty great but I don't think it's killing worms, I think it's killing the bacteria.
It now makes sense to me ... why so many people are having result with the parasite cleanses. IMHO.

Fuel,
How are you doing today?? I was thinking about you. Any crawlies yet?
Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
No crawlies... I am waiting till after tomorrow to start again.
Hands itch for some reason though?
Posted by scorpiogirl (Member # 31907) on :
Not sure why your hands itch... but mine feel hot now after the sauna!
I'm bummed that they have not shipped my Parastroy. So I can't try until next week. Maybe if I feel brave enough I might try the Salt/C, but then again maybe not since I did the sauna today. I better wait to make sure I feel ok first... not point in trying too much too soon.
Hope you're having a great time at the wedding!
Posted by James1979 (Member # 31926) on :
Fuel, man, I hope you're not getting trashed at the wedding! Don't forget that alcohol is not good for us. When you get back, you'll have to confess to us if you "cheated".
I also hope you had a good time.
Posted by scorpiogirl (Member # 31907) on :
LOL
James is going keep us on the straight and narrow! Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
HEY GUYSSS... WHOA AM I FEELING GOOD..
Alright, just kidding... James, thanks for thinking of me man!
I did not have any alcohol, in fact I am so dedicated, I drank straight tonic for Brussels. I thought just in case I might have a bit of the Babs?
The wedding was alright, honestly it was friends of my parents. The wife and I would have rathered stayed home with the boy and snuggled.
Hope you all are feeling good. I am on day 3 of decent well being

Fuel - were you able to make it to Church this morning, even though you were having a massive hangover?
I was worried about you.
Did anyone ask you why you were wearing sunglasses in church? Posted by Fuel1212 (Member # 29312) on :
Ha little man was coughing so rather than getting the other kids sick in nursery we stayed home.
