Hi Again...sorry for all the drug questions lately... dr's are already gone for the weekend.
When I was on Zythro before it was 2 250mg tablets a day...I took that as meaning twice a day.
My new script is for 500mg once a day. Is that ok? and what time of day do you think it would be best...morning or right before bed?
I would say bed so I could take all the other supps in the am, but I am still taking doxy twice a day so that wrecks that theory...
could the zyth have any effect on sleeping either good or bad?

Hi - I have always taking zith twice a day. Once in AM and once around dinner time.

I think once is better. I take my 500 mg in the am.
Zith has an absurdly long half life. Days and days. So taking it once / day means you will still have plenty in your system 24 hours later.
I think the big spike of 500 is worth it, rather than a low, steady 250

I was taking 600 mg. once a day per my llmd. I agree that it has a really long half life.

Kslipper I am on that as well. Take with something in your stomach and not the same times as other antibiotic. I was taking hydroxycloroquine at bed with it and would get bad stomach pain. Now I split them up so as not to have pain.

Since it has a long life why do we need to take it daily? Can we take it alternate days?
