Any time I take antibiotics my skin becomes very itchy. I also develop bumps all over my forehead, neck, and back. I thought that this could be due to die off of bacteria but I am not sure. Any one have similar issues?

I am on the same antibiotics for Bartonella and my skin on my face feels hot. I've not had any itching or rashes.
Die off of bacteria can cause many different symptoms.

My first week of Rifampin I had this - but it went from itchy to feeling like it was on fire.
I paniced, thinking I was allergic, and stopped taking it until I could get in to see a doctor, and popped benadryl like crazy. My Allergist assured me it was a full blown herx (as in his non-lyme head, he said herx always accompanied by rash). My LLMD had me restarted it after the rash went away, but reduced my dose and very slowly built up to the full dose.
So, perhaps a bit too much dieoff? You should definitely check with your doctor.

That happens to me every time I start a new antibiotic as well.
I itch all over, so much that I can't sleep, but it goes away after a week or so.
Benadryl helps, but be careful because it can knock you out (it certainly does me).
The rash hasn't gone away for me. I've finally accepted that it's just going to stay until I'm a bit better.
I do plan to ask my LLMD about it when I see him next week, though.
