Can anyone recommend a good supplement for liver support other than milk thistle?

LLMD wanted me to take milk thistle but I can't because I'm allergic to ragweed.

I'm on mino, rifampin, arteminisin...

thanks!

Hmm... I'm allergic to ragweed pollen, but I can still take milk thistle daily without any apparent problems. Are you sure we're not supposed to take it if we have ragweed problems?

For liver support, I think the best are coffee enemas and caster oil liver packs.

That's what it says on the bottle. But good to know you were ok with it. thanks for the other suggestions!

NAC is also good for liver support.

Arteminisin is for babs right? Your treating bart babs at the same time?

Extended Health (that's the brand name) Liver Support.

It contains artichoke and sarsaparilla. No milk thistle/silymarin, so ok to take with babs meds.

It's gotten my husband through tons of assaults on his liver, from abx to chemo.

You can order it online through many of the usual supplement sites.

I've heard "burber root" is good for liver detox as well.

Very true, gmb--Nutramedix burbur drops have been a basic part of husband's detox, along with parsley drops--for kidney support, perhaps?

Yes, treating babs and bart at the same time.

Thanks, everyone for the suggestions!
