I don't know if it's caused by Lyme or something else, but everytime I eat or drink I burp. It's getting ridiculous! and it doesn't matter what I eat or drink!! any idea what can be causing this??

No idea what's causing it (sorry I'm not much help) but I have had this too, ever since Lyme.
Even when I drink water... very annoying indeed!

Me too.I remember having burbing attacks the night i went to the hospital shortly after starting treatment.It coincided with my herx.
I have been dealing with it for several years.For me it seems to effect my Vagus nerve which inturn gives me heart problems.
It has been a nightmare for me. I have tried several things and been to several doctors that have given me all sorts of tests.
I havetried yeast free diets,diflucan and the like,herbal remedies,probiotics. I have done several rounds for years of abx, and herbals.Tried coiling several times.
While i have done some bart abx and herbals i suspect i am dealing with bart.All of the tests for bart come up negative.All of the Lyme tests in the past have been very positive even after years of treatment.
Sorry, i don't mean to scare you, i am sure you will find your answer soon.

I have been battling a parasitic infection called blastocystis hominis. One of my most prominent symptoms is burping after drinking or eating. It also has caused rapid heart rate for me when I wake up at night.
I am slowly knocking it down but it takes a long time to get rid of. You need a stool sample or rectal smear to diagnose it. You probably won't pick it up with standard labs and would need a specialty lab like metametrix. I went to a doctor in NYC to is one of the few who does sigmoidoscopies right in his office to find parasites such as blastocystis and giardia.
Then I later also found the blasto in a metametrix test.
