Hey everyone. I've been going through this for about 15 years now but could have had lyme longer. Needless to say, since I haven't been able to work for the past 3 years, I spend a lot of time doing research. Two important things I have found out about are mycoplasmas and jaw cavitations. I have been tested for mycoplasmas can came up positive for mycoplasma pneumonae (sp.). I have yet to be tested for the jaw cavitations, because there are only a handful of cav specialists in the U.S. and the one I want to go to is back in AZ, where I live. I am out in CA right now helping to take care of my mom, who has cancer. Anyway, both things can either keep us from getting well or can make us worse. Way too much to type out here about them, but please take the time to learn about them and how they can affect our health. Google works best for searches for me. With jaw cavitations, you may have no symptoms at all and could have a septic infection in your body that becomes systemic and toxic. That is my next step, to have the exam and special xrays to see if it shows up. I am pretty certain I have that too. Chances are if you've ever had teeth extractions or root canals, you probably have cavitations. Regular dentists do not know how to properly find or treat cavs, so you really want to find one who is worth the trip and expense. Good luck.
