Since starting Rifampin 2 weeks ago, my libido is COMPLETELY gone. Have luckily not had a problem with it at all during my Lyme ''adventure'' and am feeling back to 80%..could this be a herx from the Rifampin? This happened very suddenly and out of nowhere and I am really freaked out.

and when I say sudden, I mean sudden! I can barely stand to be close to my partner at all. Smells are driving me crazy! help!

Hmmm... I've heard this question before. Maybe do a search here.
As for being sensitive to smells, that can be caused by candida/yeast. Watch your diet and take tons of probiotics.

I couldn't find anything other than a thread about SHBG which I'd like to know more about as well...very worried.

shbg is sex hormone binding globulin...apparently rifampin can make those levels too high and cause menopausal symptoms?
i can't find that much information about it, but i'm concerned that is what has happened to me since it was all very sudden and correlated with the beginning of my rifampin treatment..
