Hi, I have a lot of allergies now, and basically I'm allergic to everything I've been eating frequently (leaky gut syndrome). I've been taking a lot of chlorella tablets for months, so I'm wondering if it's logical that I might be allergic to chlorella. Is such a thing possible? Do you think it'd be prudent for me to stay away from the chlorella until I get my allergies under control?
I thought that chlorella might have a high chance of being allergenic because it has so much protein, but I've never heard before of someone having a chlorella allergy.
Thanks!

Hi Lyme1234, check out these two sites;;; Some people may be allergic to chlorella...
if you have a lot of allergies and MCS it is advisable to rotate all supplements after awhile so the body doesn't get use to them and start reacting.

It could be the sulphur that you are reacting to. It's happened to me. I'd try backing off for a while.
It's a tricky situation because you need sulphur in order to detox.
Good luck.

Yes, I recently heard Dr. K mention that some people are in an interview I was listening to.

@Everyone: Thanks a lot for the replies!!!
I guess I'll just stay away from chlorella for now. If lots of my allergies go away in a few months, then maybe I'll give it another try.
