My mother will be starting IV vancomycin after months on IV rocephin. She has seemed to have plateau, so her doc is switching her meds.
My question is, will IV vaco continue to hit all forms of lyme? Will it also hit bartonella?

Not sure about which forms but it is my favorite lyme drug. Knocked my lyme for a loop after 4 months. IT has crept back over the past year though. I only took it with flagyl and should have added biaxin but did not.
