Warning to all who are using epsom salts to detox....
You might want to purchase small bags of Epsom Salts for your tub baths... at least the size you can lift easily and are not likely to drop.
I had purchased several large bags, quite heavy for me to lift- and ever notice how they are made of some sort of slippery material that gets even slipperier when wet? Anyhow...
While drawing my tub bath I accidently dropped the big bag of epsom salt on the top of my bare foot and toes. Ouch.
While at the docs office the next day for my regular appointment they noticed my slightly swollen foot and asked me what happened.
When I told them they laughed. Then they told me to go home and soak my poor swollen foot in none other than....
Epsom Salt.
LESSON- If you ever drop a big bag of epsom salts on your foot, do yourself a favor.
Tell the doc a 5 gallon tub of ice cream fell on your foot. Maybe then you will be told to go home and soak your foot in ice cream?
I wasn't thinking too fast or that's what I'd have done!

Ouch.
Works best if you also add a 1# box of baking soda with the bag of Epsom salts.
You will come out (20 min. later) smiling.
Email me privately. I found something important...very!

Try a full bag of Epsom salts (5#) along with a 1 # box of baking soda in warm, not hot water.
