I assume the doc means that F lab is trying to do genetic sequencing of FL1953 and the haemobartonella or BLO.

I am also guessing that the 2nd researcher is Clongen lab and I do think the parasite they have found is different than the F lab one. Not sure if he is referring to the dumb bell parasite seen on hubby's prior bloodslide or not. Hubby's most recent bloodslide back in April, 2011 after his first of 5 fever spikes showed a different blood borne parasite than his earlier bloodslide.

I personally think there are many more parasites and bacteria to be discovered in tickborne illness patients.

Thanks Chuck. A great find.

Looks like everything but the kitchen sink!!!!!!!!

I have no idea what the majority of the pathogens are and I am sure many cannot be tested for in humans. Of course just because it was in a tick is not proof that it can be transmitted to humans.

Was somewhat surprised that serratia marcescens was not listed as that is a very common bacteria.

They only tested for one class (I use "class" in a very generic sense as I, in old age, can not think of the proper word) of life form (see previous note).
