I listened to a Byron White interview and he mentioned that the two different types of symptoms that all lymies have are intestinal and neurological, if I correctly recall.

I've been off antibiotics for three months now as a test to see whether I'm done with treatment. It's becoming more apparent that the symptoms are returning. The brain fog is coming back as are intestinal symptoms.

Aside from the usual intestinal stuff, I'm having air hunger. A friend who has had candida says that my symptoms are the same as hers were. The candida was using up the air leaving her hungry for it. She also had brain fog and the other intestinal symptoms. I had a stool test for candida a few years ago and was negative by Genova Diagnostics.

Does anyone know what intestinal parasites that people with lyme have? I took a round of alinia a couple of years ago and intestinal symptoms cleared up then but later I got at least some of them back. There must be something we all have in common since we all have intestinal symptoms.

excellent question. i've often wondered if i would have the same parasites that you do.

i've had intestional problems since i was child and his horrific pinworms. the doctors have always said "just ibs" but that is a basket diagnosis.

i've never been tested for parasites or candida. my doctor says systemic candida is "almost unheard"...yeah, like lyme, right??

it seems strange that something like humaworm or hulda clark can address all parasites. but i have ordered the humaworm and am willing to give it a try.

Intestinal parasites like tapeworms, flat worms, round worms, flukes, and more.

See http://curezone.com/image_gallery/parasites/all/default.asp?i=26&n=75

Air hunger and brain fog sound to me like you've got some babesia to treat. Check out salt/c at www.lymephotos.com.

It could be anything since we are all different.

Babesia is usually the culprit in air hunger.

do not stop antibiotics until you are symptom free for at least 2-3 months

and when you DO stop, take high doses of flagyl .. if you herx, you are not finished

I know someone who had horrible GI symptoms, but treatment for the pinworms relieved all her symptoms.

It is rediculous that doctors ignore pinworms. Pinworms should be treated - all family members will also need to be treated, because pinworms are airborne and contagious...and easily eradicated with a short prescription of antiparasite medication.

Adding to what hens posted is the Filarial Worm co-infection that some of the ticks are carrying such as the ones posted on www.lymephotos.com

I had exactly what is pictured come out of me after 6 mos of antiparasitic herbs and salt/c. I was on abx 4yrs prior to that.

What specifically is used for pinworms?

What I do not understand is diagnosing an infestation of parasites when there are no obvious symptoms. Pinworms cause rectal itching. Horses will rub their tails off when they have pinworms. Dogs scoot their butts on the ground.

Roundworms will be expelled into the feces and you can't miss them. When there is a bad infestation you can vomit them. Skin and hair are dry and coarse with a bloated belly. Roundworm eggs stay in the blood and are transferred to offspring via the plecenta which is why most puppies and kittens need to be wormed. They were infected before birth. Adults become immune to them.

Segments of tapeworms are also expelled in the feces and they wiggle. They cause diarrhea, abdominal pain and weight loss.

Air hunger is classic babesia.

Some obvious symptoms of parasites in humans are:

skin disorders and allergies,

digestive disorders,

weight problems,

sleep disturbances

mood and anxiety disorders,

fatigue,

muscle and joint complaints

blood disorders,

sexual and reproductive dysfunction.

If you check out the symptom list at Humaworm, the list is even more comprehensive.

Air hunger can also signify lung worms as well as babesia.

Find some good fresh Garlic the worms can't take it. BUT lol neither can most patients. But it works on many type worms. And helps with yeast also.
