Just got labs back and my Cda is normal but my C4a is high at 1,213. Called my sister and hers was over 10,000.
How high can this test go?
Is there direct correlation between elevated number and symptoms?
Did I read right that if C3a is normal and C4a is high, then suspect mold?
It is the holiday so I haven't been in touch with my doctor.
On a good note, my youngest son was normal on the C4a and C3a. His CD-57 was also up almost 30 points to 96. 150 here he comes!

My C4a was 19,440.
Scared me something good, I thought my head might explode.
Our Dr. said it is either my chronic Lyme, or could be mold.
We have had to go down the mold trail- had a mold inspection, only found it in the garage, which we had fixed, and waiting on results of ERMI tests I sent in.
Also detoxing with CMS powder.
Did not have the C3a test done.

Mine was around 20,000.
Per Doc B. C4a is a marker for Neurotoxins. So any infection that causes neurotoxins can possibly elevate C4a.
C3a I thought was more for mold. Both C4a and C3a are part of the complement Immune System.

My C4a is 4800. Normal Range is 0-2830. Doc says it is a very strong indicator of Lyme Disease.
