My mother (age 63) has late Lyme disease, and it is affecting her memory and cognition. Very scary. She got the bulls eye rash in 2004, and had 3 weeks dox, which didn't seem to work at all. It has been years of pain and fatigue. For the last 5 years, she has had memory problems that seem to ebb and flow. At this point, it's seems to have become more consistently bad, and seems to also include cognitive impairment. She is miserable.
We have to get treatment for her, and I'm just trying to figure out where to start... Any recommendations?

Check the Seeking Doctors section. SHe needs a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD)...or other Lyme Literate Practitioner.

Best way to begin is by finding an excellent LLMD to treat your mom. In order to really help her, she needs to begin treatment with a doctor who is knowledgeable about Lyme disease and coinfections, as well as supportive treatment.
Did any of the doctor referrals given to you a few months ago in Seeking Doctor help, or maybe not?
