I've seen people on here taking 3x as much. Scott F has a list a mile long on his website. It's not terrible what you have there.

the problem i have - is fitting a list like that in with my antibiotics. I don't think I am up all those hours....

Take the fat soluble ones together. fish oil A D CoQ10
Also, when you cook carrots for supper, put some butter on them...carotene in carrots turns to vitamin A, which is a fat soluble vitamin.
Source Naturals makes Acetyl L-carnitine and Alpha Lipoic Acid together. This combination did not cause me gastric upset, as plain ALA did.
Don't take sam-E unless you need it.
If you're taking the things that make glutathione, you may not need the supplement. Things that help the liver to make glutathione include: fish oil magnesium acetyl l-carnitine alpha lipoic acid CoEnzyme Q10 undenatured whey N-acetyl cysteine (NAC)
Glutathione and resveratrol are antioxidants, as is milk thistle.
Garlic and andrographis kill bacteria, so be sure you are taking liver support...the list of things that help to make glutathione.
The liver uses glutathione to detoxify poisons in the blood. Lyme bacteria leave behind stuff that is poisonous to the nerves, and which cause symptoms...hence the reason you get a herx reaction. The herx doesn't get better until the liver can detox the poisons.

there are some good ways to consolidate supplements. I am always hesitant to give TX advice, but since I started taking real food supps, along with real food probiotics I have been doing really well. My body is a great deal stronger. The supps I take are a bit pricier, but it winds up being less than I would have paid for cheaper supps in greater quantities. Half of what I take is in a smoothie, with lunch. It has made scheduling the rest a ton easier as well.

Good info Carol. If you can learn how to dowse or get someone to do energetic testing, you may not need to take all of these things.
I found that I actually need alot less than what is recommended but it's an individual thing.
I don't think the body can even absorb glutathionine. I take NAC instead. I think coffee enemas are better for this purpose...

Good news, andrographis is good liver support on its own. It's also adrenal support. I was very happy to discover that. It covers a lot of bases.
I've confirmed all this with hours studying it. You can do cross searches at PubMed for details.
If all those supplements were ingredients in recipes for the day, they would not seem like too many healthful nutrients to offer to your cells for growth and healing. That might help make it worth the effort.

Hell no does not overwhelm me, U should see all what I take, even all the teas, etc. U dont have to take every single pill every day. U can use ReNew Pro whey powder to build up glutathione, can use Biotics Nutriclear or Metagenix Ultra Clear plus or InFlamX for general nutritional support and to support both phases of liver detox.

My 4 med trays are completely full now and I have things I take away from those. I started adding one thing at a time 18 months ago and I am still adding. Recently I've added NT Factor and in the mail is Enhansa, a curcumin supplement that is supposed to be so good.
I don't seem to have any side effects and my labs are good except Cd-57 and ECP.

Thanks Keebler, I didn't know that about andrographis, that it provides liver and adrenal support. When I looked it up quickly, I just saw that it was used like an antibiotic, before antibiotics were "discovered."
Dal123 said that "you don't have to take every single pill every day." I don't, except for Wobenzym, which is essential for me as it reduces inflammation and pain. I'm not on antibiotics, so I'm not trying to maintain a steady blood level of those.
I've read that nurses in nursing homes will often schedule a medication "holiday" for Sundays, when they skip many of the patient medications.
Ktkdommer, NT Factor is another supplement that I tried and found that I had no shift in my fatigue. I was disappointed, as many people had good results with it.
Regarding the SAM-e, (which I can never remember how to capitalize) be sure to read up on this before you try it. I had no observable results with it.

At my worst, before I knew I had lyme, I was taking something like 80-100 different supplements daily, and some of them were 2-3 times a day. It was a lot of work, but they helped me enormously, helped me function, helped me keep my job.
Now, these were all energy tested if they were really good for me, as well as tested in terms of when to take them, and if they interacted well together and so on. For those taking a number of supplements, I think energy testing for if they are really good is an important thing to do. Otherwise, I think they would be just as likely to cause you problems rather than help you.

Scott F. recommended ATP Fuel for energy, better than NTFactor. My energy is pretty good amazingly! I am taking NTFactor to repair damage to the mitochondria and about 7 other reasons mentioned at the ILADS conference from Dr. N.- the mycoplasm expert. I also have visual problems that can be addressed with NT factor. Dr. N turned to Dr. H. and asked how many patients he had on it and Dr. H answered almost 1,000.
Some docs recommend SAM-e, even if not depressed. I know some without Lyme who take it with good results. My son takes 400 mgs not 200. He can be heard singing around the house so he will not be stopping it.
I copied this from Dr. B's list of supplements in order. A year an a half ago we started at the top of his list with #1 and worked all the way down. Neuro issues were huge with my sickest child. They are the slowest to clear up.
