mydoctor has agreed to switch me to naturthroid or erfa. i am wondering if anyone has had a positive experience on either of these medicines as opposed to armour? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

doing much better on Nature Thyroid. Switched from amour 3 months ago.
Thyroid issues not flip/flopping as it was on amour. I was swelling/losing hair, & fatigued.
since switching those issues have disappeared. (knock-on-wood)

I had taken Armour for over 10 years... when it was reformulated, I did not do well on it (due to the change in the binders)
I did not do well on Nature Throid either but did tolerate it (my husband has no problem with it)
Erfa is great... it is exactly like Armour was before they started messing with the formula
I've been taking it for over 2 years now and love being able to obtain it.

Same here had to switch from Armour. I have my natural thyroid compounded now and I'm doing great. It's pure with no fillers.
I tried efra and did okay but did not like all the fillers that are in it, especially talc a known carcinogen.
