How long-how long till Mepron starts kicking in and doing it's thing???????
Still in bed most of the time. Any time I think I can get going and do something,even clean out a cupboard or attack mail. I get right back to bed ,,,,head feels like sludge. I also feel woozy, weak, aches.
Seems like with some meds I could bypass this. But ,nope to pillow I go. Which leaves ,computer, cordless phone, lights, alarm clock within 12 inches of me almost all the time.. Not good I know but to bed I go...

I just started it and feel the same way. I tried to go for a walk today and did not even make it to the end of the driveway I lost all motivation to go for a walk by the time I stepped out the door. I just felt like lying around but was then aggravated with myself because it's not like me.
I had to go out to the store and noticed that I felt better for a little while when I was up and moving. I did get pretty weak again when I got home, and felt much worse after sitting or lying down and then attempting to get up/be active. I feel completely "out of it" on this medicine. I don't know if I'll be able to continue with this particular one if it gets much worse.

Hang in there SUMMER3 you need to kill the bugs and do not quit.Just try to detox.I can not walk either since my babs and bart relapse from the car accident and ended up disable in bed since than .It is almost 2 years and I am inside the house.DO not quit on the treatment .Go for the eradication of the infection .
Relapse is horrible.

I believe it takes Mepron 4 weeks to reach optium levels in your body. During Weeks 5 thru 9 while on Mepron/Zith I felt my worse shoulder pains (which I had never had previously) and overall fatigue. Short term memory started to improve shortly after that.
Minimum treatment time is 4 months, but most take much longer. I think I read somewhere where the body replemishes all of its red blood cells every four months. Not sure what the life cycle of a single red blood cell is.

the mepron not making me sick/worse...I don't think...It's about how long taking all these meds,abx,supp,drops ..something kicks in...I wouldn't know if Mepron making me tired cause I am all the time, I functioned at abot 75% this Summer and now I'm just in this stupid room, praying my head off ,wondering what else.

Are you taking Zithromycin with the Mepron?
When I started Mepron it helped Babesia symptoms within weeks but I had also been on Zithro for the last 8 months. I think Burrascan's protocol was Mepron + Zith for Babs. (I could be wrong about who's protocol it was.) But I have only been able to tolerate one dose of Mepron per day so I'm not better, but taking Mepron did get me out of that real bedridden sickness for a couple of months. (Although not so great right now)
