Can you take Chlorella if you still have amalgams.

I have two in my bottom molars and plan to have them removed, one at a time, over the next several weeks.

Any precautions or advice you all have about removal procedures and detox would be helpful.

Thank you.

Do a search on lymenet (though, you probably already did).

There is a lot of information and many differing opinions as to when and what to take. You really need to do the research and decide what is best for you.

As far as I've read, it's gray, not black or white.

Good luck.

As long as the amalgam is in the teeth, this happens. Chlorella will pick up some of the mercury from extracellular spaces, but does not clear the intercellular areas. Other agents have to be used for that.

You can take chlorella. But mercury in the brain is not a good thing, and that is where it moves everytime you drink, chew, talk, move the jaw. So waiting is not a solution.

Mercury is a most toxic substance that damages our nervous system.

Take care.

I posted this a long time ago:

How does the mercury leave the tooth?

1. It evaporates. The evaporation which is absorbed by the tissues in the mouth or on the way down into the lungs. Thats one way.

2. There is the abrasion of larger particles that we swallow and that go down our food pipe.

Then, no matter whether it enters in the tissues in the mucosa of the mouth, or the mucosa of the gut, there are different ways they can travel. (Stoertebecker, a brilliant dentist in Sweden, wrote about this more than 40 years ago)

3. The main uptake of mercury is in the nerves. Not in the bloodstream, not in the veins, it goes straight to the nerves. Why do the nerves pick it up? Dr. K. calls it curiosity (just like the knock on the door by someone you wonder who that could be --- you open the door..) . The nerves grab it and, boom, they are dying. Mercury travels up the axon of the nerve from wherever it is, and it either ends up

4. in the cranial nerve and goes straight into the brainstem or

5. in a spinal nerve and goes up the spinal cord first and then up to the brain .
It takes roughly the same time, so it makes no difference.

In the mouth: we have several cranial nerves in the mouth:

a. The 5th cranial nerve that is very much represented in the back of the tonsil area, that is the vagus nerve.

b. the glossopharyngeal nerve, or the 10th and llth cranial nerves.

c. A couple of other ones that are present in the mucous membranes.

So within 24 hours from the evaporated amalgam from the tooth to the brainstem before you get foggy eyes, foggy vision, tinnitus, cloudy thinking, all those things that come with it.

The other less important aspect is the venous uptake, lymphatic uptake, and the uptake of bowel bacteria in the intestinal tract.

(as presented by Dr. K. at a seminar I attended - and as I learned it to be during my own heavy metal detox process and Lyme clearing a few years ago)

Always more to learn.

Take care.

Since chlorella doesn't detox mercury from the brain, what does Dr. K use?

The only substance that we know crosses the bbb
is cilantro. Science from Japan several years ago. Don't use it without knowing where you stand in the detox phase. I.e. if your gut/nerves is still loaded with toxic metals, do not use cilantro unloading brain -- you cause problems that way. That is the reason energetic testing is needed to time the different agents for detox.
It takes always several agents to get the toxic metals out of the body from anyplace - a single one does not accomplish it.

Dr. K. uses DMPS, DMSA, Cilantro, chlorella, the various metal detox sprays, but all only when they test well for the present condition.

Parasites need to be treated first.

If you have KPU/HPU, detoxing metals is difficult until you correct that condition. Search here for it - I have posted about many, many times. The majority of people who have a chronic disease such as Lyme, have a problem with KPU. www.hputest.de Do the test there - it gives you an idea if it is a problem for you.

Metal detox will be unsuccessful if you have KPU and it is fairly easy to correct it. I did nto detox any great amount of toxic metals until I did the Allergie Immun therapy. There are several threads here talking about it.

To get rid of Lyme and other infections, you have to work on lowering the toxic load of everything else. See Four steps to Treat Lyme I posted yesterday.

All the above works together to detox metals from the brain. One alone will not accomplish it.

Take care.

LLMD says to use DMSA for detox. Where do I find it? Can't seem to find it on iHerb.

DMSA like all metal detox is best done under close supervision of a practitioner who understands the difficulty of detoxing metals. It is not a do-it-yourself therapy and needs other support to do it right and safely. Be careful. All detox goes via kidneys and liver and needs guidance, binders, etc.

Good luck.

Thanks Gigi. I did read up on DMSA here:

http://dmsachelation.com/

With your comments, now I am concerned to try this.

I am to have an amalgam removed on Tuesday and don't know what detox I should do.

I was advised to take DMSA for 3 days (during the time I have the filling removed).

Suppose I will do charcoal and chlorella....

Hi GiGi and hi everyone. It's been so long since I've been here now that our Lyme battle has ended.

A loooong time ago we exchanged emails about doctors who were familiar with rife in Rhode Island.

Is there a way I can get in touch with you?

I hope the New Year finds everyone well.

Chunga, mail me at [email protected] - I remember you.............

Thanks GiGi! You have mail. I remember Lymenet fondly and see many of the same folks here.

My wife and I wish you all the best of health!

I am going to start Andy Cuttler's chelation protocol and he says that using chlorella is a bad idea because all it does it take the mercury, moves it around and deposits it somewhere else. You should google his protocol.

Can someone please recommend a good biological dentist is the Northeast to have my amalgams removed? Thanks?

tickled1, check with www.IAOMT.com

Take care.

GiGi- since you are such an expert on all of this... would you recommend IAOMT more than Huggins for removal? Thank you...

I don't consider myself an expert except I learned about teeth and toxic metals the hard way. I never questioned any dentist ---- and let them do. That's how I ended up with 12 root canals and paid a very high price, not in money, for it. Though it seemed to be tough at the time, I am glad my worries are over. I am still detoxing mercury thirteen years after removal of amalgams and root canals. Mercury does not stay in the teeth - it moves into every part of the body, including the brain. That is not a good place for it - nowhwere is a good place for it, not even in the landfill. But we dug it out of the ground - now we have to live with it and the damage it does.

H. Huggins has trained people here. I am not sure where he practices himself. Ask a lot of questions and learn enough about the process to know all you can before you do it. Interview dentists and understand that most of them are
toxic themselves. One of the reasons why they finally come and learn at Dr. K.'s seminars.

Wishing you the best!
