I would love to buy a Kindle but wonder if the EMF should be a concern?
Do they give off much EMF?
Thanks for any thoughts

It has what is essentially a cell phone in it. Cell phones generate EMF. Of course you won't normally hold the Kindle adjacent to your head.

Thanks Chuck. Maybe it's not so bad. The Amazon review of Kindle said it doesn't get hot like a laptop does. Another sign that it might not be so bad.

Just 'cause it don't get hot doesn't mean it's safe. Cellphones don't get hot either, as far as I know.

If you are already stuck with a chronic problem, reduce the toxic burden by first of all avoiding any EMF you can. There is plenty of EMF that we simply cannot avoid. Why add more?
Ditto - Michael.
Take care.

The EMF generated in a laptop is confined to the interior. The same can be said for all commercially produced electronic devices. FCC regulates it.
I measured EMF/EMI in a research setting for several years in the '80s.
