I have been pulsing Tindamax for a month now (three days on; four days off) and have been surprised that I have not had much in the way of herxes.
Today, however, I am noticing some significant flare ups. Is this common to have a "delayed" herx, one month into treatment?
Thank you. Julie

I had a horrible herx one month in, and I was doing 4 days on, 3 off

Thank you, Beth, for letting me know. That is helpful. Anyone else?

Its like taking water for me so far on day 4. Same was true with Mepron, Zithro, Biaxin, and Ceftin.
Doxy caused me increased inter cranial pressures for a week and Amoxi caused a 1 day herx and various muscle twitching and movement for the week I was on it.

Thank you. I was so apprehensive about starting Tindamax that I was surprised to have so little reaction initially.
I had a terrible time with Doxy--awful headaches, hurt to move my eye--and my LLMD took me off, so be careful with that cranial pressure.
I appreciate the feedback.

How long did u herx on doxy for? Mine was bad at first and I wanted to stop, but kept non going. After the first week it got progressively better.

I was on it recently for a month pulsing it as you are with no herx. My llmd said it means I have a very low infection load and he took me off of it.
In the past when I took Tindamax I would have such a bad herx that my llmd didn't want me taking it again.
Is it possible the herx was from other meds or herbs, maybe hitting your monthly cycle?
This is a positive thing!

Lymed in 2010--I don't think my LLMD thought it was a herx; he really thought it was a reaction to doxy and took me right off. I had forgotten too that I had terrible headaches with minocyclene years earlier (with a different LLMD); between that and this reaction (and an article he had just read), he feels I should not take doxy.
Unsure--I see him next week so wonder if he will say i do not need to take Tindamax after all. I hadn't thought about my cycle, or the cycles of the various meds I have started at different times; great point!
