I am aching from head to toe, down my spine, shoulders, arms, legs.

Malaise, malaise, malaise......

Freezing cold to the bone, Headaches, Lot of head stuff, and of course the Anxiety and Emotional stuff.

Is this to be expected on a Diet change alone ?

Again, I cut out all Sugar, Dairy, and very very low Carbs.

Lots of Detox without much relief. Binders not much use either.....

If someone told me this is normal and just stick it out, it would make me feel better. Babesia does not cause this last time I checked.

Just an FYI, my Candida Immune panel cytokine levels were off the charts.

Thanks everyone........

Why "very, very low carb?" Our bodies need fuel.

The Paleo diet can be very severe (far too severe, I think for those who are ill). But a Paleo diet is not necessary low carb, at all. It's all about lots of carbs from veggies.

A "very, very low carb" diet can be dangerous for anyone with excess porphyrins. A "very, very low carb" diet can trigger a porphyria emergency, especially during detox.

Be sure you get enough nutrients from good protein sources, complex carbohydrates (lots of veggies) and good fats - and enough calories to fuel your body.

We need FUEL from a good supply of carbohydrates (of course only from the complex form) - "very low" means you are barely getting any vegetables. Vegetables are necessary in abundance at each meal and each snack.

Are you getting 5 - 9 servings of veggies each day? Nine is best, really. From the brightest & deepest colors. Leafy greens at least 3 times a day?

If you are worried about glycemic index, just select the best veggies and balance with protein and fat, again the best of the best regarding sources.

During infection, we also need about 25% more protein to supply specific nutrients to our muscles and to nerve cells.

And, of course, the good fats are required for cell protection, too.

I've been eating tons and tons of greens. It's not the probelm.

I even ate a protein bar a few hours ago with a baked potato.

Just got out of bath tub and was COLD while in the Hot Bath...

How can that be..

Still freezing, drinking hot tea... Sweating from my head and even from my sweat shirt with a heating pad on it.

Feel cold in my shoulders, back and all the way down...i.e I'm still cold even underneath the heating pad heat.

No way do I have a flu either..

I am exactly the same and I repeat babesia .Sweat in the head and cold to the bone.I get in the shower just to warm up and shake like hell to dress up while part of muscles are still hot from the shower.I can not stabilize the body`s tempreature.

Are you taking anything for babesia ? While I am treating and killing it the symtoms of REVENGE against me is WORST.I got bit 5 years ago even though I had lyme before it and bart.

To me this screams DUNCANI!I might stay on greens all I want it will not give you the feelings you have NO WAY.Is the bug in our veins that make me and you feel this way.

Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the diet then.

Was trying to strengthen body/immune system with this Diet.

So many people with illness get alot better on this diet. Me, I just get worse.

It may be Babesia flaring, but I do believe it is related to the diet somehow as I am doing the diet alongside a friend also with WA1 Babesia who has been doing terrible since starting this diet with me. So, I'm going back to what I was eating with alot of modification. I need to get the Babs out of me !

No way Candida can be causing the craziness I go through.

Candida causes nearly every "lyme symptom" in the book and then some.

Stay on the diet as closely as you can without making yourself crazy. It will pay off.

Maybe you have a flu bug??

Its the diet if you cut out the fat such as the diet Dr Fry recommends you will herx.

The bugs want their fat and they die off without it and you just should go slower and tilter down and keep track of the exact amount of fat your taking in.

Try to get to like 15 grams but work down and if you are herxing go more middle ground like 25 to 35...

Just depends on how you feel

When the herx calms down you can titler down the fat intake and then wait again before you go down anymore.

Like 5 mg at a time downward

What is your Fat total now?

??

She is right about candida... it is horrid, and I believe that treating it with dietary adjustments alone can cause discomfort at first. Yeast die off is very unpleasant.

Keebler is also right--eat plenty of the right carbs--colorful veggies as much as you can. Very, very low carb is not a good idea, in my opinion.

ER Dr. says it is a Stomach Flu and has seen tons of cases in the last 3 weeks with the exact presentation as mine.

Regardless, I think you guys are correct, expecially the "FAT" part. I'm not getting enough fat. I guess this would explain why I am aching all over even before this Stomach flu, which just added insult to the already injury as in Double Whammy.

I think the Carbs are ok since I'm eating tons of greens.

Thanks everyone, will keep you updated...

I have had the same thing but it just goes on and on. I hope you recover quickly.

I would advise you to not eat a lot of meat, especially red meat. Eat wild caught fish or organic chicken. Red meat is hard on your kidneys.

Personally I am off all meat right now> Trying Dr. F's recommendations.

I was on this, I felt great up to a point, but then it kicked in a terrible Neuro Herx.

Makes sense. We uses Diflucan to get at our Brain issues often, so if you afre killing a fungus naturally...you will also Herx.

It should hopefully pass soon..but we are all different.
