My adrenals are totally exhausted and when I try to take an adrenal support supplement I get heart palpitations and feel anxious.
Is there an adrenal support supplement that is gentle and won't do this?
Thanks.

- Cordyceps, Ashwagandha, or Holy Basil. I've found each of these to be nice and supportive.
You would always start with a low dose, just once a day, with breakfast. After few days, add a dose at lunch. After some time, maybe with an afternoon snack.
A glycerine tincture (rather than an alcohol one) might be best as you can increase drop by drop.

I use Cowden's Adrenal Support drops. Works better for me than anything else I've tried.

A good supplement blend is "Adrenal Essence" by Xymogen

opus, have you tried one of the more gentle adrenal supports yet? I just tried cytozyme(a glandular,) way too overstimulating for me, even 2 days later, so am interested in hearing about what you try.
thanks

I have not tried one yet - I am thinking about Adaptocrine. Has anyone used that one?

Jennifer70, I get my Cowden Adrenal support from www.naturestrust.net. You have to search Nutramedix Adrenal Support. The prices are cheaper than going through Nutramedix.
