My adrenals are totally exhausted and when I try to take an adrenal support supplement I get heart palpitations and feel anxious.

Is there an adrenal support supplement that is gentle and won't do this?

Thanks.

Cordyceps, Ashwagandha, or Holy Basil. I've found each of these to be nice and supportive.

You would always start with a low dose, just once a day, with breakfast. After few days, add a dose at lunch. After some time, maybe with an afternoon snack.

A glycerine tincture (rather than an alcohol one) might be best as you can increase drop by drop.

I use Cowden's Adrenal Support drops. Works better for me than anything else I've tried.

A good supplement blend is "Adrenal Essence" by Xymogen

opus, have you tried one of the more gentle adrenal supports yet? I just tried cytozyme(a glandular,) way too overstimulating for me, even 2 days later, so am interested in hearing about what you try.

thanks

I have not tried one yet - I am thinking about Adaptocrine. Has anyone used that one?

Jennifer70,
I get my Cowden Adrenal support from www.naturestrust.net. You have to search Nutramedix Adrenal Support. The prices are cheaper than going through Nutramedix.
