I started doing B12 shots about a month ago. My ND told me to do them subcutaneously, preferrably in the butt.
I started off doing them in the stomach, because that is where the nurse showed me how. I noticed a HUGE difference by my second shot. I was doing them every 3 days.
Anyway, I just recently switched to doing them in mu butt. My energy has completely tanked. At first I thought it was a flare, but the rest of my symptoms are much better today, but the fatigue is worse.
Is it possible that this is caused by me switching where I do the injections? What would the difference between the butt and the stomach be? Where do you think is the best to do the shot?
Even with the risk of scar tissue, if this is from changing up the shot, I need to change back. I cannot function like this.

Wow. I've never had one in my butt. I have tried the thighs, but it hurts too much. I usually do mine in the arm.

I've done them for years... in the hips, 3X/week. (but then, I have some extra padding there )

I like stomach. So much easier for me. And painless too with the tiny little needles.
